KAY CRINKELMEYER

EXPERIENCE

Kay Crinkelmeyer has over 30 years of experience in both residential and commercial design. She has worked closely with many celebrities and VIP clients. Her strong suit is building long-lasting relationships with her clients. One celebrity client has used Kay's design services in eleven homes over the years! She is the owner of Designs by K, but spends the majority of her work time as a decorator. She travels across the country to design homes for her favorite clients.

PHILOSOPHY

Kay prides herself in listening carefully to her clients' wants and needs. She's here to design for you, so each project takes on a unique twist of its own. She treats your home as if it were her own. "I'm not going to put anything in your home that I would not have myself," states Kay.

FAVORITE TRENDS

Currently, Kay likes the straight line furniture that she is seeing on the market. She also loves the current trend of using bright colors in the right places. Her main goal, however, is to create a look that is timeless and incorporates elements of current trends.

STUDIO DIRECTOR | Neely Meyers

Kay Crinkelmeyer's daughter, Neely, works as the studio director/office manager. She also is the go-to girl for advertising and marketing, as well as human resources. After earning a degree in education and art, and after teaching for 9 years, Neely decided to go into business with her mother in an industry they were both passionate about. Neely is the mother of Kay's identical twin granddaughters who are also a big part of the company culture.

Melissa has worked in small business accounting for many years and is your personal contact for all money matters.

LEAD DESIGN ASSISTANT | Josh Pickering

After earning a degree in architecture, Josh joined Designs by K as a top-notch assistant. He assists and supports the decorators in all stages of design projects.

DESIGN ASSISTANT | Amy Griffin

Amy has always had an eye for good design, and now she's assisting the best decorators in the world and gaining priceless experience as she goes.

As a longtime friend of Kay Crinkelmeyer, Maryellen is always ready to help! By working closely with Kay, she has gained much experience in interior design over the years.
